Well if you blinked you might have missed it.  1720 The Strand in Manhattan Beach hit the market on 5/28 and closed escrow on 6/10.  It didn’t go into escrow on 6/10…..it closed.  It went into escrow after 1 day on the market so clearly this was an off market sale in all reality as this must have been in the works prior to listing.

Bryn Stroyke of Bayside represented the sellers and Molly Hobin Williams of Bayside represented the buyers.

1720 The Strand sits on 3300+ foot corner walkstreet lot which means views are not only incredible and unblockable on the west side, but the north side of the home (or future property) as well.  The home was being sold for lot value.

The home is a bit close to the downtown area but just on the cusp of being far enough to not be impacted by the summer crowds and parking.

This duplex offered a main home with 4 bedrooms and  3 bathrooms.  The second unit is over the garage and is a 2 bedroom 1 bath.   That said it was irrelevant as the home will get torn down and a new and likely very large, home will be here in the future.
