In a rare occurance a beachfront home on The Strand sold quickly. Strand homes often sit for months if not years and price changes and on/off market are the norm.
This one was a probate sale and it was aggressively priced and took full advantage of being a new listing. The home was listed at $6,500,000 and sold for $6,100,000 which is at or below land value.
The home was pretty strange and the pictures made it look better than the reality.
It was an unusual combination of original areas, updated areas, floors that were simply painted white, an abundance and variety of surfaces, cabinets etc.
