Adjacent Homes Both Sell Making for a Legacy Opportunity
1808 The Strand and 1812 the Strand Manhattan Beach
The big real estate news in Manhattan Beach during July was the simultaneous listing and sale of two unique beachfront properties. 1808 and 1812 The Strand were both owned by the same family and it appears both sold to the same buyer. It’s likely that the new owner will try and merge the lots (not as easy as it once was) to create a true legacy type property.
Both homes were listed and sold (represented buyers as well) by Ed Kaminsky of eXp Realty of California.
The two unique homes could not have been more different. 1808 the Strand was an original bungalow style home built in 1922. The home offered 1,068 square feet and was nicely remodeled. 1812 The Strand was all concrete and glass and something out of a futuristic utopian movie.
