The latest beachfront home sale on the Manhattan Beach Strand just recently closed at $4,623,373. The home was originally listed at 5,249,000 in September 2022 and after a year of price drops ended up at $4,795,000 before going into escrow.
Listed by Matthew Paul of Rodeo Realty, 4406 was a top floor condo in the El Porto area of the Manhattan Beach sand section. The home featured 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths with a little over 2,100 square feet.
As this is one of the furthest north properties on The Strand it does sit behind the beach parking lot so it’s not always quite as tranquil as beachfront properties can be. The El Porto location is a bit of a challenge but does have one advantage over more southern properties and that is a reduction in drive time for commuters. It also happens to be right at a great surf break so ideal for any surfers out there.
The home was nice but in somewhat dated condition.
