Let’s take a look at the month that was for Manhattan Beach real estate and how it compared with October a year ago when the market was on fire.
October 2022 definitely showed signs of a slowing market compared with the previous October.
There were 69 active home listings on the Manhattan Beach MLS compared with 46 last year. Only 24 homes went into escrow compared with 46 in 2021 and only 25 closed home sales in Manhattan Beach in October. Median prices were down as well and with the median sales price of $3,000,000 in October of 2022.
