Amazing $4,327,481 Average Sales Price in June

What a month it was for home prices in Manhattan Beach during June.

Summer is heating up and the real estate market is equally hot.

The number of homes that sold returned from the incredible 33 in May to a more normal 21 home sales in June, but…….

Average prices were incredible……

The average “asking” price of the homes that sold in Manhattan was an incredible $4,441,519 with the average sold price at $4,327,481. This was a significant increase from the already impressive May average of $3,852,675.

The price per square foot was $1472 which was similar to previous months.  Homes averaged 56 days on market (DOM) before going pending.

Of the Manhattan Beach homes that sold, 8 were in the  sand section, 4 were located in the tree section, 1 was in the Manhattan Beach hill section, 1  in Manhattan Village and 7 home sales were located in east Manhattan Beach.

Although surprisingly it wasn’t the top home sale of the month, the second highest priced sale of June was a beachfront duplexone of the homes was a beachfront Strand duplex at 1720 The Strand that sold for $14,000,000 just days after being listed.
