The beachfront home market of The Strand in Hermosa Beach is already oversaturated (and overpriced in most cases) but we have seen a few sales lately. Now it’s appearing that we’ll see several new listings hitting the market. While we can’t share the addresses or specific details at the moment it appears that we’ll be seeing an empty lot in the near future, an older home in North Hermosa come on the market this week, as well as a very large home that’s been on and off the market several times over the past few years. Things might be changing for the ultra high end Strand market in Hermosa Beach.  There have been two closed sales in the past few months and now 1534 The Strand is in escrow.  This is notable as it was on the market with 2 different realtors since June of 19.  Originally priced at $11,900,000 it was reduced a few times and the list price when brought to market by the latest brokerage was $9,999,000.  As not too much had changed with the house it looks like the new price was the difference.
